One of the greatest things about photographing the 1st year for babies is that you get to see how they change.  I typically shoot the newborn, 3, 6, 9, and 12 month sessions and when I go back to look at previous sessions, the photos read as a story book.  May sound cliche, but it's quite remarkable.

My first attempt at selective focus

Trying to create a Tilt Shift lens effect. Took a while, but it's always fun to try new things with your photos. Helps keep me engaged in my own work. Like anything you do over and over, it becomes mundane regardless of how much you love it. Even though this may not be my favorite photo or even my preference in style, it reinvigorates my passion for photography.
